The act of feminism is a sin and should be completely eradicated. It’s that simple. Many women are becoming too powerful and should be put down again. When men argue it’s called a “heated debate,” but when women argue it’s called a “cat fight.” When a man gives his opinion, he’s a man. When a woman gives her opinion, well, apparently she’s a b*tch. Might as well just go back to comparing us to live stock again, because women are nothing without a man. We need a master and can’t be trusted to do anything, other than clean, cook, and have children, because we obviously don’t have a brain. I’m hollow. Sorry. Just get rid of all the women. It’s a “MAN’S” world isn’t it? You obviously don’t need us to, bail you out of jail, do the taxes, pay the electric bill, keep this country free, get you out of a sticky situation, write stories for people to read, prescribe medication to get your happy self back on your feet, help your pets, teach kids to be responsible and trustworthy… Noooo. Not those things! And as far as rape goes, *gasp!* she said the [nonracial] R word! Yes, yes I did. Bite me. Woman totally ask to get their bodies pillaged and ransacked no matter what they do. Showing a little shoulder in school is strictly prohibited because it’ll “distract the boys” Heavens no! we can’t have that. Ooo shoulder, so scandalous. The school must call the girl’s parents immediately! She much change! It’s not because institutional tolerance, misogamy, or negative social influence. It’s because she was ASKING FOR IT. So, people of the world, help bring feminists back down to earth, where they belong
Questions: From this assignment I learned how ridiculous satire can sound. Not that I didn't know before but I was really salty when I was writing this so it got worse
2.)I didn't like how I kind of had to beat around things to say what I was trying to say since it was satirical. I couldn't just say, "Feminism is needed due to rising rape statistics." I had to wrap it and be seemingly misogynistic.
3.)I might have written about a different topic, but over all I kind of like how it turned out.
4.)I don't think I would really change anything, I'm fairly proud of it as is.
5.)It was, in a way, a venting mechanism to let out some of the anger toward society and how messed up it has become.
