Social or Unsocial media? (Rant)

In some of my most recent internet travels it has become apparent that public shaming has become a trend. No, not the head locked in the stocks and then getting vegetables thrown in your general direction. In a way, that almost seems better. What I'm talking about is a group of people thrashing another because someone they follow made a case that seemed legit enough to take further. An example is that say someone you follow has a new dress that they absolute love and they post a picture of themselves on their Tumblr or Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. And a week later someone else posts a picture of themselves in the same dress, that they bought, and the original person says that the other stole it. So they rally all of their followers to bash for "stealing" their dress. Usually, at least from what I've seen the followers say something along the lines of that the "original" girl wore it better and that the other should take the post down because they look fat or gross/ugly... Take your pick of insults most of them are covered. It's horrible right? The second person didn't do anything to deserve the beating but they got it because the first person made an issue about something that wasn't worth it to start with. People get insulted for a lot of things these days. Their clothes, their physical appearance, their creativity, their sexual orientation, who they may like, their music, who they're friends with, who they aren't friend with... You can't sneeze without offending someone theses days. Celebrities are influencing young children to take unnecessary risks and dress inappropriately for their age, girls cake on make up to make themselves feel better about themselves when they're beautiful just as they are. I say leave that crap in 2015 but, as we know, no one will listen to a seventeen year old. So here's to hoping that 2016 will be less antisocial and more social.
Questions:
#1: Some things that I learned from this assignment was how to write something in a way that can help you get your feelings out but also can either entertain or help others in the process.
#2:What I liked about this assignment is how I could express myself through the use of a rant and how I agree or disagree with something.
#3:I think the outcome of the outcome of this assignment was a good one because of how I could get everything to flow.
#4:If I could change something about it I might try to change some of the vocabulary and the examples.
#5:The writing process was irritating honestly, because its one thing to just write, its an nothing think to try and get it the the point where it's coherent.
